Many charter schools are great and some are not so great. When a charter school does good that they must use public relations to promote their successes because when a charter school does bad the teachers union will promote its failures to the public. Not all charter schools are created equal and there are many things, which make them successful or not successful. From a management standpoint it stands to reason that organizational capital is the key to success meaning that the teachers and the faculty must get along good together and work as a team with the parents as well. And do not forget the kids either because they will run the school if the faculty doesn't. That's right even little Johnny can cause quite a problem in the school. Today's charter schools must be very high tack and said the kids on a fast track to understanding science and technology's. But that certainly does not let them off the hook for the fundamentals, which must also be taught. Likewise a well-rounded human being at an early age makes for a very productive person in society where as someone with a skewed and limited view of things may be an expert in their field but they generally are not the people who make the great discoveries, which will propel the human race. It is essential that our charter schools lead the way into the future as our public school system in many cases has been dropping the ball for over the last few decades. Charter schools may not be the answer in all cases but many times they are and there is a big difference between each charter school, as they are not created equal. Please consider this in 2006.
